The lighting is not so good, but here are some shots of Pyrrhus painted. This is an excellent figure by Relic Miniatures. Very detailed and based on the famous bust of the Eagle King.
This is quite an ambitious casting for 28mm; having separate pieces for the reins among other separate pieces.
Great job, Dean...you do nice work
ReplyDeleteAgree with the Captain, looking forward to see him finished
ReplyDeleteLooks great Dean but fiddly!
ReplyDeleteExcellent work.
ReplyDeleteNicely done and he's not even finished!
ReplyDeleteNicely done sir.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful miniature and excellent painting as ever!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Wolfgang
Thanks, Gents.
ReplyDeleteCyrus - I agree - the length of rein that comes attached to the left hand is okay - pretty solid; but the small piece for the portion from the mane to the left hand is a bit tricky. Oh well, so far so good though. Regards, Dean
Lovely work Dean. This is one of my all tme favourite ancient commanders.
ReplyDeleteHelen
nice, but you forgot the ring.. incredible ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat catch - I noticed that in the photo that I forgot to paint the ring. I'll probably make it either a ruby or emerald. Thank for the comment, Dean
