Here are the last figures from the Perry "Brigade Deal" of Russians.
To fill up the 50mm round Litko bases, I added a couple of spare grenadiers, as well as a French casualty from their French Infantry set.The mounted commanders are all cast as one piece - rider and horse.Their lineage from Foundry sculpts by the Perrys is visible - particularly the one in the 1809 shako.Good to have these done as my order of reinforcements (more cannon and some skirmishing Jaeger) are en route.
Thanks for stopping by and wishing you all the best.

DeleteGreat work Dean, these are really nice. That green on the coats looks fabulous. I admire your dapple grey horses too. I sometimes plan to do dappled horses but I always switch for a simpler colour when I get the paints out! I should really give it a try and see if I can get the excellent results that you do.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Jason
Thank you very much for the compliment, Jason. I probably could've softened the grey a bit, but got lazy. I try to group 4 - 5 irregular sized dots for the dappling pattern. Pretty simple process, once you get into it. Warmest regards, Dean

DeleteCommand bases look amazing. Block painting for Napoleonic is a key solution. A large number of figures in a relatively short period of time.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bartek. This method works great for Russian uniforms. Warm regards, Dean
DeleteGreat work on these Dean, I wish I could get over to WA to throw my French at them.

DeleteVery nice commanders stands, Dean! I really like the green shade with little portion of emerald.
ReplyDeleteThe model papers of UP Intermediate board exams will help the candidates to have an understanding of the actual exam pattern of UP Class 12 Board Exams, the nature of questions, UPMSP 12th Model Paper 2021 and the weightage of marks for each phase in a particular concern.
ReplyDeleteThey look gorgeous - really great! Do you know, up to which command level the shako was worn by the Russians? Your miniatures look like Brigade Generals at the highest? Wore corps and army commanders always bicorne or sometimes field cap like famously Kutusow?
