Not sure if these are available anymore, as I picked them up at the Panzer Depot sale. They were in the storeroom along with othet OOP stuff.
Welcome additions to the Celtic army with 3 other chariots from Victrix. In fact, the crouching driver on the left is a spare Victrix figure.
The driver standing on the pole is s secured with brass rod.
The swords are GW-esque sized, but match the sculpting style.
There are now 5 chariots for the army. Next up are the Warlord Games Celtic Heroes. Thanks again for dropping by, and best wishes to you all.
You sure can paint, Dean! I would have enjoyed rummaging through the storeroom in search of Renegade goodness.
ReplyDeleteThank you verymuch again, Jonathan! Yes, I suppose I should've spent more time, and money there! :) Best regards, Dean
DeleteGreat work Dean! I do like the Renegade figures - big, chunky and easy to paint.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mike. Yes, they are in the heroic style for sure. Kindest regards, Dean
DeleteBloody hell Dean....I don't visit your site for three or four days, and you have added three or four posts - I thought Jonathon has an amazing output but you are just taking the mickey out of the rest of us...and to rub salt in our wounds, you do a fantastic job too!
ReplyDeleteThank you much, Keith. Yes, kinda took off with these recent Celts. I've been waiting to get slingers and more chariots, so finally picking them up I went ahead and painted them up quickly. Warmest regards, Dean
DeleteSplendid looking chariots! I'm with Keith, blink and you've painted a pile of slingers and a pair of chariots and they all look great!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thank you very much, Iain! Yes, trying to "complete" the Celtic army - before starting on other projects. Warmest regards, Dean
DeleteAwesome chariots Dean, congrats!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Phil! Kind regards, Dean
DeleteGreat stuff Dean and perfect timing as my Hittite Chariots are on the paint table this weekend, not sure how I am going to get three fella's in the back of mine :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stu. Yes, it's always a fairly tight fit in chariots - never had to worry about 3 crew. Kindest regards, Dean
DeleteReally nice chariots and charioteers!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much. The figures are quite animated. Kindest regards, Dean
DeleteGREAT WORK!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, Michal. Best regards, Dean
DeleteHoly Toledo! These are OUTSTANDING! I just love the colourful clothing!
ReplyDeleteI did like Renegade Miniatures. A bit on the chunky side, but I didn't mind at all - nothing drives me crazier than spindly little rifle barrels or swords that bread off and are to thin to be drilled and pinned back into place!
I have a few of their ECW and Napoleonic and Great War minis. It looks like they're still maintaining a website, but I think the webstore has been shut down for ages.
Thanks a lot for your visit and kind words, Tim! I wonder if Renegade will ever open up again. I regret not picking up their WW1 figures. Warm regards, Dean
DeleteI do like your patterned colours 👍
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, Matt. I enjoyed painting the plaids on these. Kindest regards, Dean
