Hello all! Sorry for being away for awhile, but been running around doing stuff for the family and home. That all said, I am still hosting a game of Tribal later this week. Will be finally be using the Eureka Hawaiian figures painted some time ago, and also the terrain pieces and more recently completed outrigger canoes.
Also using a new mat picked up from Amazon. It's made by Mantic, and very nice, but they mail it in a box folded, so I spent some time trying to get the fold creases out by various methods. The folds, although much less than before, are still present.
There are three warbands for the invaders and also the defenders. Each warband consists of a warlord, a hero, and a unit each of warriors with long and short weapons. I may alter a few warrior units to be marksmen with thrown weapons (spears and rocks).
One of the objectives is the capture of a sacred sword - this is believed to have been from a shipwrecked samurai on Maui in the 14th C.
Another objective is a sacred pool - the invaders will try to contaminate it. They should be able to figure out how to do this.
