Finished staining 70 of the pikemen. The other 26 will be painted as the Black Band, so wanted to do them separately.
(Pike) block-painted prior to staining.
Besides the Black Band, need to finish the command figures. After these, have two bags of Old Glory Swiss Pikemen to paint up. Go them from a local store on sale for less than $1 a figures. Also have a box each of Wargames Atlantic Conquistadors and Renaissance Heavy Cavalry inbound from ebay. Thanks again for checking out the blog - wishing you all the best.
Oh wow! They look brilliant as they are!

DeleteGreat production work Dean...and you seem to have picked up some good bargains as reinforcements too!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Keith. Yes, the store has a lot of hidden gems,so to speak. They buy, sell, and trade miniatures and games from private sales and other stores that are going out of business. The owners are more into Scifi and fantasy, so historical stuff is usually priced fairly low. Hopefully, they don't change 😀 Best regards, Dean
DeleteI don’t know how you manage to tackle so many figures in one go. Great job!
