These are actually done, but not sure when command sprue will arrive to complete the unit. I got an immediate confirmation and "Processing" for my order last week, but no update on shipping yet.
As mentioned previously, I used the left over figures from the Polish set along with a few from the French 1807-14 set. The French look very similar to the Polish figures, and only needed a little bit of modifying. Among the modifications was clipping off the long coat tails, bayonet scabbards from their right hip, and center straps on the greatcoat roll. Also, smoothing the area below the cross straps for their closed lapels, and also gluing on bayonet scabbards next to their canteens. Sounds like a lot, but these were all fairly simple and quick to do. I used sections of bayonets from spare arms for the scabbards.Guess the skirmshers can be worked on while awaiting the Perry order. Wishing you all the best this holiday season!
