Christmas Greets!

From "The Last Frenchman in Russia" and friends. Not to worry as he made it out of Russia and went on to be a math teacher in North Carolina.
These are figures which I painted a few years ago and already posted somewhere on this blog, but recently put them on a multi-fig base from Litko.

On the workbench, which will likely be the last figures for 2018, are Perry Red Lancers.

    Merry Christmas dean, although you really missed the chance to add a false white beard to your face guards....

    The figures look fantastic as always. You miniatures look like they just stepped out of an oil painting.

    Nice job on the base for the Frenchmen before Moscow. It's like a beautiful little diorama! I feel cold just looking at it... or... maybe it's just the weather in Saskatoon today that's making me cold...?

    Dean, Merry Christmas! I like your painting. The French in Russia are very beautifully painted and decorated. I want to ask a question - do you first paint the buttons, and then around them in a different color
