Here are the remaining two figures from the plastic Perry sets of the WotR Infantry and European Mercenaries. The one on left is painted up as a musician for Norfolk and the one on the right for Oxford. Both freshly swabbed with Minwax.
I see I may need to dab some of the stain off certain areas - like the rear of the cap on the Norfolk guy.
And a shot of them prior to the stain.
They'll be given a shot of Testors Dullcote as soon as they're dry.
Great work Dean, staintastic!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Thanks, Fran.
DeleteLovely work, very vivid colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Steve! Appreciate the visit and comment. Dean
DeleteVery nice work Dean!
ReplyDeleteThanks again, Rodger.
DeleteLove the red/yellow combo Dean.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Michael. The Oxford coat of arms is a nice one.
DeleteNice! I really like the trumpeter's outfit. Enjoy seeing your before and after dip photos. Isn't is amazing how much depth the minwax adds?
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff!
Thanks, Jonathan. Yes, if it weren't for the staining, it would take a lot more effort. Best, Dean
DeleteGreat work, Dean, you've clearly managed to combine quality and quantity!
ReplyDeleteAnd those Perry sculpts are really something, top shelf.
What fun. Add a muddy base and they could play Glastonbury. :)
ReplyDeleteHi.
ReplyDeleteA good job, good colors.
Dang Dean, those guys are really beautiful. That's two more color schemes I'll steal from you.
