Their blue uniforms are a bit darker than in the photo - due to the flash. Only need to paint up the two officers' horses. The Foundry horses looks like ponies next to the current Perry ones - still nice though.
Again, these figures are for a buddy of mine; who traded me several packs of Foundry Russian Cuirassiers - that should be my next project.
Look good Dean !
ReplyDeleteoh man.. love your quick painting style, fantastic!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely blue-er! :-) Look good.

Thank you all for the kind comments. Although a bit shorter overall than the current Perry range of Napoleonics, they should look fine crewing their own guns. Best, Dean
ReplyDeleteVery nice work there Dean, with regard to the smaller mounts didn't the French struggle with quality horseflesh?
ReplyDeleteNow they look splendid! The reverse technique works beautifully.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you use to stick them to the popsicle sticks?
ReplyDeleteWow! I like these colours. Looks very good!
ReplyDeleteLooking very nice as usual!

Thanks again, Gents.
ReplyDeleteJames: I use a glue gun - my wife's. She hadn't used it in decades - I just started using it a few years ago for this kind of stuff. Dean
You're a genius. I've used tacky putty, white glue, or superglue all with a high percentage of failure. Metal models falling off and bouncing down the driveway.

ReplyDeleteThe coolest thing is - being a master of frugality - the glue gun and tons of glue sticks were just sitting in box for years unused. Still using the supply of sticks that were there. Dean
