These guys are from packs SAM19, SAM20 and SAM22; all with spears.
They are tough to rank up with spears and sashimono - in fact there's about a 10mm gap between ranks here.
Closer-ups:
They will form the sole foot samurai unit - still need to add a command group.
Superb Dean!!!
ReplyDeleteREally like your Samurai collection.
Cheers
Paul
Thanks, Paul. I'm happy they're finally done. For a long time, I put off building a Sengoku-period Samurai army, but couldn't resist these Perrys. Best, Dean
ReplyDeleteWOW! Those are incredible, Dean! That's some impressive painting!
ReplyDeleteLooking good!
ReplyDeleteAt least you mounted them on round bases. It would have been harder to rank them up on squares!
They look beautifull..I´ve attempted samurais in the past so I know what a pain they can be tp piant...my respect on completing them.
ReplyDeleteCheers

Thank you all for your kind words. Hope you all have success with your projects too.
ReplyDeleteChristopher - as soon as I get some banner men to lead the individual units - I will get a group photo of the whole army.
Best, Dean
