Just need to base them, but they are done with painting. The last OG 2nd Ed. unit will be a mix of the left overs from the 1809 & 1815 packs. Enough for a 24-man unit which I think I'll paint as Swiss 4th Regiment with red coats and light blue facings.
The flag for this unit is a spare that came with the Perry box.
NOTE: I see now that I forgot to paint the tops of the officers' boots - will take care of that before they get based.
Very nice work Dean. I'm still impressed with how you manage such good results in such short time.
ReplyDeleteThanks, HGA! I'm kind of surprised myself - I usually come home from work and just go into couch potato mode, but these past few weeks I made it a point to pick up the brush and work on these guys. I'm glad I stuck to it too. Best, Dean

ReplyDeleteYou've got this down to an art form Dean, great work.
ReplyDeleteReally impressive level of detail in this unit. I'm using your posts to inspire the painting of my Perrys, but no way I got your standards
ReplyDeleteAh shucks, guys. Thanks again and I hope any technique or trick you may glean out the posts will work well for you. Best, Dean
ReplyDeleteSay now these guys really turned out nice indeed! Real quality work Dean!
