Finished these guys as fast as I could so I can start on the Sash & Saber figures. The shields still need some detail work - but that can wait. They also need to be based properly. I'll go to the Game Matrix next week to see if they have some hex bases; I'm sure they do.
Looks like the guy on the left in the picture above needs his foot armor painted.
Not sure of which rules these guys will be used in, but I may re-look the Duel rules in Siege and Conquest. I don't want too-complicated rules.
Hey Dean
ReplyDeleteGreat work mate - i love how these have turned out.
Keep up the great work :)
They look great! If you find a decent set of quick-play rules, do let us know. I've been pondering a hex-based Knights at Tournament game since I started playing Impact!'s 'Elfball' fantasy football game which is hex-based and in which facing is important. I think it could be a fun way to get my boy playing when he's a bit older.
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteWonderful job!
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly, Gents. I'm not only happy with the way they turned out, but also the time - within a week. I'll take a look at the games being played at Enfilade (the big local historical gamers convention) next month to see if any rules may fit the Gladiators. Warm regards, Dean
ReplyDeleteThey look great!!
ReplyDeleteI have some Foundry ones myself, but I haven't got around to painting them yet.
Cheers
Christopher
Thanks Christopher; I never realized how extensive a range Foundry makes. Wow - even a horde deal. I will likely get some of them someday - I like the Minos the Beast guy and their woman-gladiators. I also needs some Retiarii guys. Regards, Dean
