Warlord Games French Legere - Completed

Here's a large, 36-man, battalion of French Legere.
Very nice figures, both the plastics and metal command. They fit in well with both Victrix and Perry.
Command with carabiniers and voltigeur elites.
Chasseur line companies.
In line.
The plastic figures only had head/shako and backpacks as separate parts.
A plastic sprue of 5 British line infantry also came with the set, but I plan to start on a box of Warlord Late Hanoverian Infantry instead.
So much for now; thanks for dropping by and best wishes on your hobby endeavors!

  6. Dean, the result is excellent! And how did you make the ribbons? Did you draw them on metal or is it paper?

    1. Thanks, Dmitry. The ribbons are metal and came with the command pack. The eagle and spearhead are cast with the ribbons as single pieces. I glued them on brass rods. Warm regards, Dean

  14. Great work on these Dean. All my French are in 24s and I do regret not doing them in 36s

    1. Thanks a lot, Scrivs! Yes, 32 or 36 does give it that look better than 24. That said, it does take a bit longer to paint, not to mention taking up more table space. One thing I think might've looked good is bases 3 per rank - 6 figures per stand. BUT, not going down that road! :) Kindest regards, Dean
