Got them all "piked" and primed. Unfortunately, the armored pack only had 25 figures instead of the usual 30. I was intending to have them in 30-figure units, but since I plan to base them 4-figures per 40mm squares, this will make it easier with having 6 bases per unit. I would've had to base a few as singles or pairs to fit a 30-figure movement tray.
Earlier today, drilling out their hands and using plastic broom bristles for pikes. Thanks for stopping in and checking out the blog. Best wishes to you all!
Looking good, Dean!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ray! The hardest part (drilling out the hands) is done! Kindest regard, Dean
DeleteAgree, have a fun! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Michal! Best regards, Dean
DeleteAnd they're off! Sure to be great soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joe! Warm regards, Dean
DeleteFantastic modelling Dean.
ReplyDeleteWillz.
Thanks a lot, Willz! Best regards, Dean
DeleteThese OG figures look great Dean, pity you were short changed on the number in the pack, though 🤔
ReplyDeleteThanks, Keith! And to add insult to injury, I had already made movement trays for the 30-figures. Oh well, I may have to add some command figures someday. Warmest regards, Dean
DeleteThey'll paint up nicely. I think the Italian Wars is one of OG's best ranges.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, Richard. I've heard that from many others. BTW, if I hand already had the Warlord Games plastic Landsknechts, I'd likely have gone with OG ones. I like their puffy, slashed sleeves! Kind regards, Dean
