This site was created late in 2008, just a few years after first becoming involved in wargaming. As you can tell by the name, WAB was my introduction to this community. I appreciate the following and comments this blog receives, and give all thanks and credit to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It may seem odd that this blog appears to focus on the folly of mankind's continuous warfare, but I believe I can still enjoy this hobby so long as I put Him first in all I do. Maranatha!

Nappy Eye-Candy
Here are some pics of the old Foundry Napoleon & Staff set. I picked it up at last year's Enfilade for $10 (another went for $8 later in the day). Not sure how they will be used for wargaming - maybe something for the enemy to capture. The Napoleon figure is from a famous painting of him at Borodino.

Some great painting here, looking forward to seeing those WW1 types painted up...I'm afflicted with Great War 1914 Belgians at the moment!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sir. Yes, I need to get started on those Great War soldiers. I like the early-War look too. If Old Glory had the French in the earlier uniforms, I would've gotten them. However, the Horizon Blue uniform is nice too. Regards, Dean
