Milanese Mitten Gauntlets and Spaulders

A quick mid-week armor post. Got a pair of Milanese Mitten Gauntlets and Spaulders today - 16 gauge mild steel. They fit very nicely, and will be part of a  Mid-15th C. Italian export armor kit. The Gauntlets have very nice brass buckles.
Hope to post pics of the rest of the kit soon. Alas, still no new brushwork from me.

Any miniatures painting projects you may have during March? I miss your painted units etc.

I must say, love your WAB and War of the Roses armies.

      cheers,

    3. No worries, Phil. I was trying to be funny in kind. I've committed to hosting a WotR game at Enfilade in May. Maybe you can make it this year? Warm regards Dean

    1. Thanks, Phil. They are indeed very cool - guess it was a design improvement of sorts to the previous Hourglass style. Less chance of individual fingers being lopped off :) Best, Dean
