Here is the bow unit for Changun's army. They can also be in combined formation with the spearmen - filling the rear rank. For now they'll be in their own unit as Open Order Light Infantry with massed missile fire.
Here they are in Skirmish order.
I plan to work on two artillery pieces next.
You've made these excellent figures shine. I really like the black and white uniforms offset with a burst of color in the commander and pendant!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, Monty. I also like he look of the two-tone uniforms. At first I thought they were dull, but they actually have a nice appearance. Best, Dean

ReplyDeleteWTG Dean! The Korean army is getting stonger!
ReplyDeleteMy mom is a big Korean soap fan because my sister-in-law watch with her (she is Korean). I have seen such costume in black and white often when I chat around and sit with them. Is there name for such uniform?
Ben
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
ReplyDeleteBen: My mom (Japanese born & raised in Hawaii) also is a Korean soap fan - like many folks in Hawaii too.
As far as the uniform goes - I'm not sure what it's called, but it seems to have been issued to government/garrison troops. The generic name for the loose garments is "hanbok" though.
Best, Dean
Superb job Dean :-)
ReplyDeleteVery well painted units full of character!
ReplyDeleteLook great Dean well done!
ReplyDeleteThe bow commander is ace.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the kind comments and interest. Best, Dean
