Used some of my Late-Romans for a Tribal game day. I played against David Sullivan's (I Live With Cats blog) Picts. He eventually won, but my warband inflicted a number of casualties early on. Enough to give David a scare. Several others were also playing, including Kevin Smyth (A Gamer's Tales). I plan to host a Samurai Tribal game on Friday. More to follow.
Will be sure to post pics from this coming Friday's Samurai Tribal game.
This is why I like Tribal. Collections that haven't seen the table in a while can be dusted off and placed right into this system without missing a beat. Samurai should be a gas.

Thanks, Kevin. Yes, and most of the guys have been (and still are) playing Saga regularly, so they are able to use the same figures from those warbands with Tribal. Kindest regards, Dean
DeleteNative american totem is so funny looking on this battlemap ^) Very uncommon era to play Tribal I think. From the my point of view, the amount of miniatures looks "Saga" system-like.
ReplyDeleteIt is a small skirmish kind of game - maybe even with less figures than Saga. Mechanics different (card draw based), but not unlike Saga in flavor. Best regards, Dean
