I've been reading up a bit on the rules and think these are a good unit to have - they look pretty cool in any case - especially the guy with the wings.
This site was created late in 2008, just a few years after first becoming involved in wargaming. As you can tell by the name, WAB was my introduction to this community. I appreciate the following and comments this blog receives, and give all thanks and credit to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It may seem odd that this blog appears to focus on the folly of mankind's continuous warfare, but I believe I can still enjoy this hobby so long as I put Him first in all I do. Maranatha!

40K Space Marine Terminators
Here is an Elite unit of Terminators for the McQueen's Marauders Chapter.
I've been reading up a bit on the rules and think these are a good unit to have - they look pretty cool in any case - especially the guy with the wings.
The bases still need flocking - I think I'm just going with sand and some pebbles (or kitty litter). Going for an urban environment; maybe some debris and such - no static grass.

Looking damn good Dean!
ReplyDeleteThey certainly look the business, a wonderful job Dean.
ReplyDeleteLooking great! I like the colour choice you made. I do get a bit tired of the red, rusted out Space Marines.
ReplyDeleteVery nice work.
ReplyDeleteTop notch work mate!
ReplyDeleteI really like the gritty feel you're getting on these models, very old school.
ReplyDeleteFMB
Dean, These guys are looking good - I've always found it hard to get the gradations of light and shade over the large smooth panels on models like these, but you're doing it with seeming ease.
ReplyDeleteQuite the turnover there as well, certainly puts my output to shame!
Thank you for the very kind comments everyone. I'm happy to see your interest in this project. My very first outside strictly "human" armies. Warmest Regards, Dean
ReplyDeleteTough looking bunch! Well done Dean!
ReplyDeleteChristopher
I really like the color scheme. Good looking unit.
ReplyDeleteThanks for comments, Gents. Appreciate your interest. Best, Dean
ReplyDeleteThe Terminators look very cool.
ReplyDeleteI use a bag of paver sand for rubbly bases and dirt bases. One bag will last the rest of your life and you can sift it for different size "rocks".
Hurry up and paint your land speeder.
Thanks for nice words, James. I ended up using sand & coffee grounds for the base. May add other debris later, but wanted to get them based.
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for the ebay win to start on the Land Speeder project. Hopefully it'll turn out okay.
Best, Dean
