Here are pictures from yesterday and last night's games at our annual "big" convention, Enfilade. I hosted back to back La Haye Sainte One Hour Skirmish games. Both games ended up French victories, although Major Baring managed to escape on horseback in the second game after losing all of his troops, but still passing the v break test. Im hosting two more back to back games this morning and afternoon. This time a Peninsular scenario, again using One Hour Skirmish. There were spectacular games in Friday's periods, including an amassed Test of Honor game.
This site was created late in 2008, just a few years after first becoming involved in wargaming. As you can tell by the name, WAB was my introduction to this community. I appreciate the following and comments this blog receives, and give all thanks and credit to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. It may seem odd that this blog appears to focus on the folly of mankind's continuous warfare, but I believe I can still enjoy this hobby so long as I put Him first in all I do. Maranatha!

Great looking games and it sound like fun!

Thanks, Iain! Yes, my Skirmish games went well. Problem is I couldn't get into the great games going on at the same time 😀 Kindest regards, Dean
DeleteCongratulations on the success of your game! I have a buddy that is in attendance this year. I may have to return some day.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jonathan. Yes, there quite a few coming from Eastern Washington, and Oregon. Akso, several from California. In fact, I had players in my games from the San Francisco area Pennsylvania! The latter visits his daughter here every year, and able to make the con. Warmest regards, Dean

ReplyDeleteLooked like a great show and glad your games were well received too Dean! If you are wondering about the deletion - I had a senior moment and got myself a bit confused LOL!
